  1. trying to find result and winners is more like a puzzle why can’t it be like the national lottery straight forward

    • Sorry you’re having trouble finding the result Ben. Although we are aware this was a problem when the Health Lottery first launched you should find it much easier now. The results are now broadcast on Channel 5 in a regular slot at 9.55pm and you can also get the results right here as soon as the draw takes place as well as on the main Health Lottery website and at Lottery.co.uk. In terms of winners, the Health Lottery simply don’t release these details other than a short news bulletin saying how many winners there were.

Finding somewhere to actually play is very hard, either they don’t have the cards or the machine doesn’t work. Also why don’t we hear about winners. You never see or hear about them on the news or in the papers or see photographs of them.
How do I know they really exist?

    • With over 40,000 retailers you’d think it would be easy to find somewhere to play. One option is to play online, it takes out the fuss and also gives you peace of mind that if you win either in the main draw or in one of the side promotions you will be informed automatically. Whereas with tickets bought through a retailer you need to check them manually and could easily miss out on something like the Second Chance Guaranteed Winner when it is running.
With regards to publicity for the winners….Because of the relatively small Health Lottery Jackpot compared with other lotteries it wouldn’t be sensible for winners to go public as the money simply wouldn’t be enough to compensate for having your name splashed across the UK press.

Okay, I am happy with that reply. I am going to watch the draw on channel 5 as I have never seen it and it kind of helps to legitimise the whole thing.
After all if it is not a public draw and we never hear of any winners?
Other than that I like the idea of a smaller lottery and would definitely play on line.
    Lucy.
