As of Saturday 19th November 2011 there has been a change to the time and channel that the Health Lottery broadcasts on. The latest changes see The Health Lottery Draw take place at approximately 10pm and it is now broadcast exclusively on Channel 5 in a new 3 minute slot during the ad break. Unfortunately the draw is still not showing up in TV listing magazines so the best way to be sure of getting the results is still to check online.
Other recent changes to the Health Lottery have seen the introduction of the Magic Monday Bonus where each Health Lottery ticket can be exchanged for a gift or a discount on the Monday following the draw. An alteration was also made to the way that Jackpots are paid. For any draw where there is no jackpot winner there will now be a ticket allocated at random to be a £100,000 Jackpot winner. This alteration to the rules is called Second Chance Guaranteed Winner. Details for both Magic Monday and any Second Chance Guaranteed Winner will be shown on each week’s Health Lottery Results page.
Once the draw takes place you can get the Health Lottery Results here and on our Twitter account @uklotterynews. You can also watch the Health Lottery Draw live on LottoTube.tv along with the results of the other main UK Lottery draws including Lotto and Euromillions.

so do we need to keep our tickets that we have bought untill the 8th of octocber?
It seems that any tickets you’ve bought are for the 8th October Draw and the 1st as many people seem to have believed. Looks like they could have done a better job of making this clear but hey, it’s early days so I guess there are bound to be a few teething problems.
lol i personaly fink its a fake game
Let’s hope not! It’s one very well publicised fake if it is
Im not a happy bunny ,we have been misled into thinking there would be a draw this weekend in fact the person who sold me my ticket said the draw would be on Saturday, but didnt say which one,I wont be buying further tickets for any of these draws as it should have been made much clearer. When dealing with what could and probably will be millions of pounds of other peoples money things should be crystal clear.Get your fact right and make things very clear I like lots of others feel I have been duped.
Thanks for your feedback Ann. It seems a bit unfortunate that they have chosen to run the Euromillions Superdraw in the same week as many people buying tickets would no doubt have preferred to play for a £85m Jackpot than a £100,000 one. I’m not sure the organisers at the Health Lottery set out to fleece anyone but the lack of transparency with their draw times and where they can be found has certainly given a lot of people the impression that they can’t be trusted. Hopefully once the lottery is fully up and running these problems will be sorted out and retailers selling the tickets will better informed.
yay i just got £50, it works for me, dont u watch telly ??
Good luck with the new lottery…hope it works out well for everyone concerned.
1 bought 6 health lottery tickets they were already filled ined in?me already fill. i didnt ask for this as i wanted to fill it in myself. do they come already filled in? Barbara
Hello Barbara, It seems that the retailer has sold you “quick pick” tickets where the numbers are randomly chosen for you. This may be down to the Lottery being new and the retailer being unsure of the correct way to sell tickets or it could also be down to them not having point of sale material at the time you bought your tickets and therefore not having blank play cards for you to choose your own numbers.
what time is the health lottery being drawn, please
It’s at approximately 9.30pm broadcast during the ad breaks on Channel 5 and ITV 1 – you won’t see it in the TV guides as it’s shown during the adverts.
Why is it going to be drawn during adverts.
As far as we know there are no plans for a full-on show so for the foreseeable future the draw will only be aired during the ad breaks. Maybe if the Health Lottery is a big hit and ticket sales exceed expectations we’ll see a dedicated slot for the draw similar to the BBC coverage of the Lotto draw.
what time is it on
9.30pm
what chanel i ay seen it
how do you know the winning numbers
A few people have asked “What are the Health Lottery Results?” and how do we know what the results are before they appear on the official website – the answer is simple, we watch the draw live on ITV 1 and enter the results into our system as soon as the results are announced on the TV. The official website takes a little longer to update as their systems are no doubt more complex than ours to prevent mistakes.
i brought 6 tickets. my shop were i brought them from doest know how to check them,,,,,,,,, n i cant find the officail website anyone know the results…..
Should’nt it be easier to see or get the result of this health lottery result, what tv chan,. what time.all this should be more transparent
What time is this health lottery supposed to be shown on tv?
Between 9-30 and 9-40pm on IT1 and Channel 5
so if you pay 3 pound and get 3 lines, do the 3, 4, or 5 matching number have to be in a certain line or can they be out of all 15 numbers?
Each line is played separately so you have to compare your 3 lines just against the winning numbers. Otherwise you’de only have to spend £10 to win the £100,000 jackpot
why is the time not advertised for the draw in the national papers along with the big ad so people can watch it live.
I’m afraid we don’t have an answer for that despite having asked several times. We can confirm the draw takes place in the ad break on ITV1 at approximately 9.40pm although it could be as early as 9.30pm. As soon as the results are announced we will publish them here.
i bought 10 healt lottory tickets can any body tell me when is the drow
The draw took place at 9.34pm tonight.
when will we know how many prizes have been won each week and how much has been paid out?
Ass soon as the Health Lottery website is restored we’ll know how much was won in total and how many jackpot winners. The Health Lottery organisers are however unwilling to release details of how many winners there were matching 3 and 4 numbers which seems to be annoying an awful lot of people for now good reason.
yes I would think so – with only 20p per ticket going towards “Health” someone is making an awful lot of money out of us all.
I think this Health Lottery has been very badly organised. Many people have been trying to find answers to questions, and it should be down to the Health Lottery to get it right. After two draws I have now only just found out what time the draw takes place, as none of the retailers I asked knew. In our local Tesco one guy entered 150 lines on tickets, and the retailer had to input all 750 numbers manually into the terminal. It took him over half an hour and caused a long holdup.
I do hope it succeeds though, because I think the National Lottery is a scam and they need some competition. One way in which the Health Lottery could gain ground over the National Lottery would be to introduce permutations into the system similar to the old football coupons. Perm 5 from 6, 5 from 7, 5 from 8, and so on. Many people, especially syndicates, would be better off doing a permutation, but the National Lottery have never entertained the idea.
how can i find out if i have won? retailer dint know how to find out!
To see if you have won you need to compare the numbers form your ticket with the winning health lottery numbers for that week. Any retailer should also be able to scan the ticket and verify if you have won – they have to do this to pay you your £50 if you have matched 3 numbers.
my numbers are 04, 15, 16, 25, 37
my numbers are 07, 19, 21, 27, 49
my retailer doesn’t know how it works!!
is it really true that only 20p goes to health?
Well it’s early days so I guess many retailers aren’t fully up to speed on it yet – can you imagine how many staff there are to train for 40,000 retailers many employing 10s of staff. 20p does go to health charities which isn’t quite as much as the 28p the National Lottery donates but it’s still 20p more than the recipients got previously.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU CHECK YOUR NUMBERS FROM THE PAYPOINT RECIEPT TO THE NUMBERS ONLINE??? BECAUSE I AM EXTREMELY CONFUSED AND VERY PEED OFF THAT I CANT MAKE ANY SENSE FROM IT
The paypoint receipt should have the numbers you chose printed on it. All you should need to do is compare those numbers with the winning numbers for that week at http://www.healthlottery.co.uk/lottery/results/lottery-results
If you matched more than 3 numbers then you’re a winner. If you have purchased multiple lines then you need to check each line separately, you can’t mix and match numbers between lines.
what is this MAGIC MONDAY all about that is printed on your ticket [sean]
You can read more about Magic Monday and the Health Lottery ticket here:
when is the latest time i can buy a health lottery ticket on the day of the draw
The closing time for Healthy Lottery Ticket sales is 7:30pm, this applies to tickets purchased through retailers and tickets purchased online.
it would be nice if Health lottery emailed or SMS’d winners like the camelot national lottery does – does this happen, or is it planned for the future?
We haven’t heard anything about it yet but it’s bound to be something that they launch in the future. If not then other lottery sites will start offering the service soon enough.
IT SEEMS THE HEALTH LOTTERY IS CONFUSED THEY SAY THE FIRST DRAW IS ON THE 8 OCT THEY SHOULD MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THE FIRST T.V. DRAW WAS ON THE 12 OF NOV AT 9.45.PM ON CHANNEL FIVE . ALSO THEY TELL YOU WHERE YOU CAN GET YOUR MAGIC TICKET GIFT THIS WEEK IT WAS A FREE GIANT CHOCOLATE FATHER XMAS AT ALDI
Sorry Sean, I don’t know where you have got your facts from but you’re are incorrect, The first televised Health Lottery draw took place on 8th October as stated, I sat and watched the delectable Melinda Messenger present it live during the X Factor ad break. Also this week’s Magic Monday offer of the free chocolate santa was at Llidl and not Aldi
thank you for correcting my comments you are quite right but it is confusing to say the least .but they should have there own t.v. slot sean.
I agree Sean, it would make things much more transparent if there was a set slot on Channel 5 for the draw and it was publicised in TV listings. Currently there is a certain amount of guesswork involved in finding the televised draw, My advice would be to use the internet as your primary source as it is currently too easy to miss the televised show altogether.
health lottery results, weekly. thankyou.
You can get weekly Health Lottery results by visiting the Health Lottery Results page at Lottery.co.uk
I went to Lidl today Moday and didn,t get anything for my ticket as they were all gone
What a con , just to get us into the shop no doubt
This is something that we have been wondering about at UKLotteryNews, what exactly happens with the Magic Monday bonus? As all retailers obviously cannot hold unlimited stock it seems that the clause “while stocks last” should be present somewhere in the Health Lottery’s Magic Monday page. However, digging deeper shows that the term does appear in the T&Cs page although it appears to be secondary to the store offering a replacement gift of equivalent value. Players should also beware of clause 8, this means that buying multiple Health Lottery tickets does not qualify you to claim multiple Magic Monday gifts – see clause 7 & 8 here:
7. In circumstances where no stock of the promotional offer is available in the store, the promotional partner will reserve the right to provide customers with a discount of equal or greater value. The promotional offer is available whilst stocks last.
8. Maximum of one claim per person. The promoter reserves the right to investigate and withhold claims it believes to be of a fraudulent nature. Should a claim be upheld as fraudulent the Promoter reserves the right to pursue damages against individuals in connection with the claim.

dear health lottery can you not put the results in mondays news paper like the lotto or euro on saturday thank you sean
The results should already be published on the Sunday following each draw in the Express and the Star newspapers.
No body knows what magic monday is including myself i took my ticket to tesco the man told me i had a free draw entry to monday draw. Finding out that there is no draw on monday so i would like to know what is going on with the money i am paying out, to enter a draw that no one has ever seen, what time is the draw what channle is the draw on and what does magic monday intail.None of the stores in my area now
Magic Monday is a bonus that your ticket qualifies for which is announced each week alongside the results. Last week it was a free stollen cake from Llidl, this week’s will be announced with the results tonight. The bonus is only usable on the Monday following the draw you entered – it is not an additional draw, it is simply a discount or similar using your ticket.
could of had a better system than paypoint, so time taking
Perhaps something for the future but with 41,000 retailers to roll out I guess it was the easiest way
why will the health lottery people no allow you to perm numbers
I am so confused a bought a ticket a have 3 numbers but not on same line have I won the £50 a don’t bloody get it as it says match any 3 numbers x
Sorry Lyndsey, you can only win if you match the numbers in a single line – otherwise you could just buy 10 lines and win the jackpot every week
